The Alta Bates Comprehensive Breast Center and the Alameda County BCEDP have formed a partnership for early detection of Breast Cancer. A woman 40 and older may qualify for free Clinical Breast Exams (CBE) and free Mammograms based on income and insurance requirements. Breast Health education and screening is available at no cost for those who have a household income at or below 200% of the Federal poverty level and who have no insurance or are underinsured.
