August 2, 2001Letting Go
Dawn Kozak
In Memorium - Feb/4/1968-July/24/2001
This fragile housing,
so long my prison,
now faces its destruction,
And soon my soul-The person I really am-
will spring free. From the fists of earth
to the arms of my Savior.Living death gives way to life
reborn.Angels welcome me,
crying with joy,
and Christ Himself applauds my
arrival.Wonder becomes excitement,
then unbridled thrill,
and I race the streets of
heaven,
dancing, calling out,
re-meeting those
who had left me behind for
awhile
O the wonder of it!What made me cling to earth so
long? This poem Letting Go used at Dawn's Memorial is from
