Do-it-yourself tea bags are a wonderful way to enjoy the benefits of flowers and herbs in the bath without clogging your drain. They are really cute and fun to give as gifts. Simply fill your muslin bag or tea ball 3/4 of the way with your choice of flowers, herbs or other beneficial additives. Then toss in one or two and enjoying steeping in your own healing brew!

Relaxed Body, Clear Head:
Black Cohosh
Fennel
Lavender
Licorice
Vervain
Rosemary
Thyme
Linden
Melissa

Sleep-Inducing:
Mugwort
California Poppy
Chamomile
Valerian Root
Hops

Bad Day Pick-Me-Up:
Rose (unsprayed - self-esteem booster, promotes positve body image)
Geranium (mood balancer)

Bad Day Pick-Me-Up:
Calendula (healing)
Chamomile (soothing)
Oats (soothes itchy, dry skin)
Powdered milk (softens, soothes dry and/or itchy skin)

Purification:
Seaweed (dulce, bladderwrack)
Epsom Salts (bruising, muscle aches, purification)

Anxiety/Depression
Kava Kava
St John's Wort
Valerian Root

Tips:
Putting a few drops of essential oils in your flowers or herbs can give an extra boost without overloading your tea. A clean bottle labeled with a friend's name and ailment stuffed with healing tea bags would make a great gift for a tired, stressed-out loved one!
